Episode 19: Happy Birthday to You and to You

Patty & Emily celebrate Stephen Sondheim’s birthday. Also, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s birthday. They talk about the shows they’ve seen, including Sondheimas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Shoshana Bean, a high school production of Rent, and a regional production of Big Fish. They also discuss the Ever After casting announcement and give a very special Carolee Update.

  1. Hello,Patty and Emily. Here are some questions I have for Carolee:

What was the first Broadway show you ever saw?

What’s it like being back in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre after doing The Addams Family? Are you in the same dressing room?

Will there be a Lestat recording?

Did you see the Parade concert? If so,did you enjoy Laura Benanti’s portrayal of Lucille?

What was it like getting to work with Kathie Lee Gifford for almost 10 years?

    and last,but definitely not least,…
    IS TUCK COMING TO BROADWAY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    Thank you 🙂

  2. I think the movie you were thinking of might have been The Neverending Story? A big black cloud called “The Nothing” consumes things, and it’s pretty terrifying. It’s not animated though. Were you thinking of an animated movie?
