Patty & Emily talk about Pump Boys and Dinettes and The Father. They check back in on Tinkerbelle, their nemesis dog, who did a feature for BroadwayWorld. In casting news, they discuss all the casting for The MUNY’s summer season and Privacy at The Public.
Hey Patty and Emily, I’m pretty sure that Tinkerbell is Paris Hilton’s dog that she made famous from showing her off on The Simple Life. Aside from the fact that it is, in fact, totally rediculous for a dog to go to the theatre, but it’s been like 15 years since Tinkerbell was even somewhat relevant in pop culture, let alone Paris.
The Father was fine. I do not understand the raves. The lights were a bit much. Constellations was much better.
I want to see Julia Murney and Ann Harada in Mamma Mia so badly. Not as much as Kate Baldwin and Paolo Montalban in The King and I or Shoshana Bean in Funny Girl, but still.
Zhivago mention! I would have been interested in Kelli Barrett or Elena Shaddow as Anastasia but I’m more interested in whether they’re making all the right changes since they’re getting rid of the movie villain, etc.
