Patty & Emily discuss two more closings: Tuck Everlasting and American Psycho. They also talk about all the castings announced this week, including Holiday Inn, Cats, Something Rotten, and Runaways. But mostly they talk about Ken Davenport, why you shouldn’t donate to the Spring Awakening Kickstarter, and what you should do instead.
I’m happy I got to see Tuck Everlasting and American Psycho before they closed, though they were imperfect. I really wish I’d gotten to see Tuck again. It was so fun.
Martin Charnin sighting. I didn’t say anything to him because the only thing I would have been able to muster was something generic about Annie he would have heard a thousand times before.
I feel like I went to Davenport’s website once to find something about Spring Awakening or Daddy Long Legs and already found it a little shady but I loved all your investigative reporting. 🙂
I don’t have strong feelings about the Holiday Inn casting but if I can make it work with my budget, I’ll probably get a Hiptix ticket. I don’t get Roundabout’s art. Aside from Noises Off, it’s like they don’t want me to have nice Playbills.
The cast is great but I’m not sure if I can sit through Something Rotten again.
I was supposed to see Alice Ripley at a concert but she dropped out. 🙁
