Bullets Over Broadway Statement

When any new show is set to open, we immediately get questions from all of you as to when our review will be coming out. Which is why we wanted to let you know that we will not be seeing or reviewing Bullets Over Broadway. We’ve discussed it and given it a lot of thought, and while we will always support new theatre and theatre professionals, we do not feel comfortable promoting something that will, in part, benefit Woody Allen.

  1. Hey Patty and Emily! I love you guys and your channel. I totally agree with you about Woody. I think he is a horrible person and a gross old scumbag. BUT I am very disappointed that you guys are not seeing or reviewing this show. I love Bullets over Broadway and i was so excited to see that it was being turned into a musical. I KNOW that you guys do not want to support ANYTHING that has to deal with Woody Allen, but could you at least try to reconsider your decision. I think the show is fantastic and your fans will be bitterly disappointed. Once again, I love you ladies. But I don’t think you should pigeon-hole the WHOLE show and its cast just because of one person. And like I said before; I do agree with you about Woody.

    Keep making wonderful videos ladies!

  2. Bravo! My reasons for not going as well. You have to stand for something, and I think too many people who are quick to condem Woody Allen, don’t give it a second thought to run & see his movies & shows. They think it doesn’t matter. IT DOES. It says regardless of your actions it’s okay as long as you’re a celebrity & make art.
Thanks for standing for something. Too few people do.
