Patty & Emily talk about the news from this week! We’re getting a new Broadway theatre, the Hudson. They also discuss the news of the Nunsense TV series that’s being shopped around, starring Karen Ziemba and Beth Leavel. Bright Star casting has been announced and Kerry Butler visits The Today Show for Everyone Has a Story. Don’t forget to check the Christmas schedule for this week’s shows! This is the last episode of the year; see you in 2016!
Happy birthday, Emily!
I have something to share. I was at an evening performance of The King and I recently and I looked a few rows behind me and there was a woman with a little white dog. I cannot confirm that it is the same dog that has been seeing On Your Feet and these other shows but he or she was very quiet and well behaved the whole time.
I had no desire to see The Color Purple (I was/am also planning to skip On Your Feet, Fiddler on the Roof, and School of Rock) but you’re making me want to see it.
I remember going by the Mark Hellinger but there wasn’t a service and it wasn’t open. I’m not sure when the building is open when they aren’t having services but I’d like to go inside and just see what it’s like one day.
I am always going to regret not seeing Ruthie Ann Miles in Here Lies Love. I can’t wait to see what she does after The King and I.
I already have my ticket for Bright Star. All I needed to hear was Paul Alexander Nolan.
Thank you for going over the schedule Christmas week! 😀 Enjoy your holidays.
